Hello!

My name is Ana Valentin and I am the creator of the site "The Science Behind Modern Medicine." I am currently studying biomedical engineering at Florida International University (FIU) with a concentration in biomechanics. This blog was created for the Honors College at FIU to showcase the latest research in medicine and engineering.

A little bit about myself:

• I am one of 5 children in my family.

• The best color is purple.

• My favorite dogs are Golden Retrievers.

• I have a Golden named Hunter.
